Rare and important collection of confessions, edited by the Swiss Reformed theologian Jean-François Salvard, c.1530-1585 (with the help of Theodore Beza and Lambert Daneau). The work incorporates Swiss, French, English and Dutch Confessions and was intended as a defense of the Protestant, and particulary Reformed, doctrine against the constant attacks of Romanists and Lutherans.)
