Green coloured vellum around 1600 with gilt coat of arms, blind fillet stamping on covers and spine, handwritten title on spine. Gilding oxidized or rubbed. From the library of Ferdinand Hoffmann (1540-1607). He was supreme Hereditary Chamberlain in Styria, Supreme Hereditary Marshal in Austria and Styria, president of the Imperial Court Chamber, and Privy Councillor. with his large bookplate by Lucas Kilian after Matthäus Gundelach on the front inside cover and his coat of arms on the covers.
